In House Design

We have our own versatile, in-house fabric design team who work closely with our customers to ensure that the designs offered are based on the ideas, colours and price points that our customers stipulate.

The designers also put together our own, unique collections that track the ever moving trends and fashions which drive our industry.

The designs may then be taken up by the Domestic and Contract Upholstery market or form part of our large Retail Trade catalog that we offer.

Our fabric designs range from the traditional to contemporary whilst our design team is always happy to adapt a design to meet your specific requirements.

Our fabric archive holds thousands of designs that we have created over the years, each of which is available to you 'as is' or can be re-worked to provide the fabric design that you are searching for.

Our fabric designers and our yarn colourist work closely together.

This team approach ensures that our customers always have the choice of the latest colours and also unique and interesting yarns that add texture and individuality to the fabrics woven by James Thornber.
